. Because DivX now doesn’t let you remove GAIN for the free ad version (how sad), I’ve switched over to using XviD. This is an open source MPEG4 codec.
Since it is open source, the settings are very strange and hard to understand. Check out the source page here that explains how to set the various parameters. Complicated.
