John asked me about a camera that really does IR well. While Sony has a pretty good IR mode in its camcorders (remember the famous Paris Hilton video 
for true high quality, there isn’t much you can do. Now Fuji has a announced a camera that John and anyone from CSI:Miami will have to love.
They use a special sensor that is very sensitive to both UV and IR spectrum. It is a special sensor that is very fast as well (We have three Fujifilm F10s that use it and it is remarkable, great ISO 400 shots in available light). What they did was to remove the filter on top of that sensor that masks out UV and IR, so now John can take his night pictures at ultrahigh resolution. It should street at $1600 and will be compatible with Nikon lenses (I have a bunch John if you need it).
