Went to the Global Partnerships luncheon the other day. Sounds like they are doing amazing things. Two great soundbites, first is that 70% of the world lives on less than $2 per day. Second is that 95% of all the loans made are repaid. Amazing.
Also an old classmate, Rick Beckett now runs it after a stint doing venture and ten years at McKinsey.
And of course everyone now knows the Grameen Fopundation won the Nobel Peace Prize.
