Hey watch out, I haven’t used the superdrive much, but when I left a DVD in there and on the airplane tried to play it, the DVD just grinded and stuck. I shook it like crazy, but it wasn’t till I got home that the drive seemed to actually start. Really recommend that you don’t leave a DVD in there. Since there is no eject or reset at all, most folks just say return to Apple on a jam. There is trick where if you hold the mouse button down during boot, it is supposed to soft eject but lots of people just seem to lose the DVD in there and there is no way to get it out. How sad!
