Nikon Coolpix P6000: Big Camera Features in a Little Package – - PopPhoto

Nikon has announced a very serious luxe-class compact camera today, the 13.5 megapixel Coolpix P6000 (SRP: $499). The P6000 packs a 4x optically stabilized 28-112mm f/2.8-5.9 zoom, built-in GPS, Nikon Speedlight-compatible hotshoe (and wireless controls), and a new RAW file format (“NRF”)which will be compatible with Nikon ViewNX Software.

It is a nicely spec’ed camera with an optical viewfinder, but the lense is typically slow.
