Now there is quite a bit of new about the iphone. Most significant is that there is now someone who can unlock the phone. So you can buy one from apple and then put any carriers sim into it. You still need a data plan with that carrier but no two year contract.
Second is that ambrosia charges $15 for itoner which let you use any mp3 as a ringtone. Again it gets out of another restriction
