What to get for the girl who has everything. Well, that is hard, but here are some things I’ve been looking at:
* A Cook’s Wares – www.cookswares.com. First on the list is a Cream Whipper. Amazing way to get whipped cream for those fresh strawberries. BTW, Cookswares, is a very nice online site. So is “Cooking.com”:http://cooking.com.
* “iSi”:http://www.isinorthamerica.com/creamwhipper.html is an Austrian company and appears to be the only folks making these things.
* “Appliance.com”:http://www.appliances.com/x0x2786x2584x2372/181.html. Cheaper one pint version. And, you’ve got to love the company that has the appliance.com URL. First site I’ve seen that uses .Net as well. A little cheaper
* “Cooking.com”:http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodde.asp?SKU=102325. A good reliable site. Great merchandising.

get the small one and never ever ever put it in the fridge and forget about it 🙂 THere is only one way to depressurize these suckers safely and it ain’t pretty once the cream has gone bad (I was a bartender for 20 years) – a really good idea is to put a piece of tape on it and mark the expiry date from the whipping cream container on it and then make certain you have used it up several days before that date 🙂 –
